Greenvale Leisure Centre in Northern Ireland last month revealed its brand new 800sq m gym completely transformed with Core Health & Fitness products, including the creation of a Star Trac CV Zone, Nautilus Strength Zone and StairMaster HIIT areas throughout the gym space.

The flagship site for Mid Ulster Council also boasts a 50m pool, Main Hall, Soft Play and Virtual Indoor Cycling Studio.

Balance Leisure has worked with Mid Ulster Council on several projects over the past three years, including the design and installation of gym fit-outs in Cookstown LC and Dungannon LC, followed by the installation of Schwinn AC Performance Indoor Cycling bikes across the Council.

Mark Smyth, managing director of Balance Leisure, shared his excitement for the most recent install at Mid Ulster, “We’ve worked with Mid Ulster in recent years to design, develop and deliver world-class gyms and products.

“We’ve positioned products that are best in class in Greenvale including the embedded Star Trac range and Nautilus Leverage range. We worked with the site to ensure that we created fitness spaces to meet its needs, demographics and ensure a return on investment.”

Balance Leisure is established in Ireland as a specialist in sales and service of high-performing fitness equipment for government organisations, leisure centres, hotels, sports clubs, private clubs as well as home gym fit-outs.

The gym has four of Core Health & Fitness iconic brands, Star Trac® cardio equipment including eight series embedded screens, StairMaster® HIIT circuit, Nautilus® Leverage, Inspiration & Impact lines and Schwinn AC Performance bikes.

The gym was designed to be accessible for all users, including the installation of the Nautilus Freedom Trainer which is the perfect piece for wheelchair users looking to undertake a series of strength exercises. The members have embraced the technology and membership numbers are already increasing with great feedback so far.

Chair of Mid Ulster District Council, councillor Paul McLean, officially opened the new gym and commended its new look and new equipment: "As a Council, we’re committed to offering the best facilities to our customers, so these refurbishment works have been absolutely essential to providing the best customer experience as modern fitness trends and expectations evolve."

Zee Ullah, dealer manager for Core Health & Fitness, comments: “We’re proud of the work Balance Leisure has put in on this project and the outcome is fantastic. The local community is very pleased and we hope to help the members smash their fitness goals.

“We’ve positioned Balance Leisure to be our Partner in Ireland and the relationship continues to grow thanks to its strong customer service.
